Bob Hoskins of Super Mario Bros. has died

Sad news bracketeers. Acclaimed British actor Bob Hoskins has died this morning from pneumonia at the age of 71.

Bob has been in countless movies and television shows that range from the excellent and insane Who Framed Roger Rabbit to the excellent and crazy Brazil. Fans of MBS will recognize Bob as the titular Mario brother in the godawful Super Mario Bros. movie, which ranked as the second worst video game movie of all time in our first bracket. Bob famously said one of our favorite quotes about the movie,
"What is the worst job you've done?
Super Mario Brothers.
What has been your biggest disappointment?
Super Mario Brothers.
If you could edit your past, what would you change?
I wouldn't do Super Mario Brothers."
Bob called them like he saw them. He will be missed. He would have made an excellent Penguin.
