The Master of Magic Elite Eight

We have entered the final stretch. By eliminating half of the remaining field, we are able to leave you with the Elite Eight competitors in the Masters of Magic bracket. Here are the results from last week's voting.

Books

Merlin (King Arthur) vs Gandalf the Grey/White (The Lord of the Rings)
Doctor Stephen Strange (Marvel Comics) vs Wanda Maximov (Marvel Comics)

Games
Vivi (Final Fantasy IX) vs Geralt of Rivia (The Witcher)
Shang Tsung (Mortal Kombatvs Medivh (World of Warcraft)

Movies
Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty) vs Fairy Godmother (Cinderella)
Jafar (Aladdin) vs Glinda (The Wizard of Oz)

TV

Willow Rosenberg (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) vs Sabrina Spellman (Sabrina the Teenage Witch)
Dr Orpheus (Venture Brothers) vs Emiya (Fate/Stay night)

So as we move into the final round, we have a fair amount of diversity within the bracket. Especially interesting is the moral alignment of the magicians. In the Book and TV divisions, all four magicians are good. On the other hand, the champions of the Games and Movies divisions are all evil (with the exception of Medivh). That means the final four will very likely be two good magicians vs two evil. Here are the match ups that will lead us to that round.

Books

Gandalf the Grey/White (The Lord of the Rings) vs Wanda Maximov (Marvel Comics)

Games
Shang Tsung (Mortal Kombat) vs Vivi (Final Fantasy IX)
