The Most Neighborly Final Four

Hi diddly ho, neighborinos! After a long week of voting, we have the results of the Elite Eight round of voting on the Most Neighborly bracket.

Ethel Mertz (I Love Lucy) vs 25 Sheldon Dinkleburg (The Fairly OddParents)
2. George Wilson (Dennis the Menace) vs 26 Mary Jane Watson (Spiderman)
Barney Rubble (The Flintstones) vs 11 Ned Flanders (The Simpsons)
MrRogers (Mr. Roger's Neighborhood) vs 12 Cosmo Kramer (Seinfeld)

So interestingly, the results skewed towards more of the classic neighbors. Created in 1989, Ned Flanders is the most recently created neighbor in the bracket which is a development we did not expect. The three remaining classic neighbors all seem to embody a trait of pop culture neighborlyness. Ethel is the friendly neighbor. Mr Rogers is the wise neighbor. Mr Wilson is the cranky neighbor. Flanders seems to be a modern take oh Mr Rogers. It is interesting to note that Mr Rogers was a Presbyterian minister and Flanders also seems to be a devout sweater wearing Presbyterian, possibly as a nod to Mr Rogers. Here are the Final Four match ups.

Ethel Mertz (I Love Lucy) vs MrRogers (Mr. Roger's Neighborhood)
