Ultimate Android - Week 2 Results

No strings here. We have just finished the second round of the Ultimate Android bracket. You have eliminated eight androids to reveal the Elite Eight competitors in our Ultimate Android bracket. There were a lot of suprises and some clear favorites are emerging. Here are the results from Week 2.

Murderers
Amazo (DC Comics) vs 8 Zero (Mega Man)
13 Jenny Wakeman (My Life as a Teenage Robot) vs T-1000 (T2: Judgement Day)
Vision (Marvel Comics) vs 10 Metal Sonic (Sonic the Hedgehog)
T-800 (Terminator) vs Cell (Dragonball Z)

Servants
Brainiac (DC Comics) vs vs 9 Data (Star Trek: The Next Generation)
4 Ultron (Marvel Comics) vs C-3PO (Star Wars)
15 EDI (Mass Effect) vs 10 Megaman (Megaman)
Astro Boy (Astro Boy) vs 6 Marvin (Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy)

As you can see there were a ton of upsets. Most notably, both number one seeds were eliminated. Considering the seeding method was relatively arbitrary it isn't a huge shocker but is surprising none the less. Both Marvel bots advanced while bot DC bots were defeated. Cell and Astro Boy were also both defeated which means there are no more anime robots but both Mega Man androids are still in contention. One Terminator remains and two space robots (Marvin and Data) will continue onto the next heat. Rounding out the top eight and the only female left in the bracket is extreme underdog XJ9 from My Life as a Teenage Robot.

Here are this week's match ups.
