We at Mad Bracket Status are trying to figure that out. We have assembled a bracket of sixteen different conspiracy theories in our attempt to determine which one is the Greatest Conspiracy Theory.
The bracket is sorted into four conferences. We have science conspiracies. We have conspiracies based on national tragedies. There are conspiracies centered around a suspicious death. We even have a bunch that didn't fit into any one box. Over the next four weeks, we will match them up and we want you to vote to determine which one is the greatest.
I know what you're thinking. "What makes a conspiracy theory great?" Good question. We don't have the answer. Is the greatest one the most interesting? Is it the one that is most likely true? Is it the one that makes the least sense? Based on your voting we will determine what makes a conspiracy theory great. And to be fair we aren't endorsing any conspiracy theory. We are looking at them objectively for their historical but mostly pop-culture value. Not that we might not be convinced along the way. Who knows how this one will end.
So onto the voting. The seeding was arbitrary but fair. The first round if as follows.
3 The Moon Landing vs 14 Evolution is a Hoax
6 Who Built the Pyramids vs 11 Fluoride
2 JFK Assassination vs 15 Lincoln Assassination
7 Paul is Dead vs 10 Princess Dianna Assassination
